Lesson learned!

So Alisyn is sick ... she now has a stuffy nose and a cough that sounds super dry :/. got the humidifier running and have the nose sucker handy :]] .the boogers are clear still which means no infection! and she doesn't have a temp and she don't seem sick besides the her nose and cough ... so i guess ill wait it out for now , nothing her doc can do for her since it hasn't been 10 days for the cough and she no temp :/

Ok so as for the lesson learned well ....

i gave Alisyn a bath last night around 6ish and fed her then laid her down to rest ... but not for mimis, well silly me let her sleep until she woke up ... didn't want to wake her because she has been sleeping so poorly during the day that i guess i thought she should sleep .... well needless to say she woke up at 3am and stayed awake until just now! she has only been doing cat naps like 45mins or so :/ ..... i put her in her crib for her nap so she can get used to it because tonight she is trying it out over night! her bassinet is getting to small already so i guess she is ready for her big girl bed♥



haha so much for the nap ... at it again going to feed her then try to have her sleep :]]

2 month check up ...

her head is now 15in around ... 3 inches bigger then last time ... she is in the 80 percentile

her weight is 11.01oz which is 2 1/2 lbs heavier then last time .... she is in the 47 percentile

she is 23.4 inches long ... 2 1/2 inches taller ... she is in the 50 percentile!


she is doing AMAZING!
i had her peds check her mouth to make sure there was no thrush ... and there wasnt!
Alisyn's tear ducts are starting to water ... makes me sad.. even if shes not really crying.
her spit up seems to be slowing down a little bit ... but that could change at ANY time lol.



those are her new stats, her peds said she is doing very well and is growing fast, she was also surprised at how well Alisyn can hold her head up by herself.


all-in-all im super happy with what the doc had to say :]]

2 months old!!!

i cant believe how big she is getting! she is so alert during the day and evening. She has her 2 month appt Thursday cant wait to see if she got taller ... i know she has gained weight! she must to be a good 11LBS+ she eats a ton .. but no worries there because she has become very efficient at nursing! no dilly dallying here LOL. Im starting to put her to sleep in her bassinet again lol ... but she just takes up to much bed! so in her bassinet she goes. I dont even think she cares to tell you the truth, i also moved up her bed time from midnight to 10pm. that way if she wakes it will be around 2ish and i should still be up :]].

i will update after her appt of thursday with her new stats!

Alisyn Monroe 2 months old! .... I JUST LOVE HER CHUBBY CHEEKS!

A Homebody....

Well Alisyn is doing well she is gaining weight she has been off the antibiotics for a week now and her face is once again clear! she is getting so big... and gaining weight very steadily! which makes me super happy!


Were both homebodies besides when American Idol is on the we go to Sherri's for dinner and then we watch AI together to get our family time :]] i love it ... not only for the family time .. but just to get out of the house! I love being at home with my daughter ... but every once in a while id like to go out instead of my love always going out ... why cant he have a boob LOL ! But i think i just solved my problem ... im going to be going to the gym ALOT so i can have my me time and well workout and get some me back ... idk if it sounds selfish or not but i want some quiet me time where i can clear my mind of everything and just workout and get control of me .... and then of course go home and spend time with my daughter and lover ♥


I guess i cant wait till Alisyn is old enough to go more then 2 hours between feeding (besides bedtime!) so someone can watch her so i can have girl time instead of it always being guy time!


and by no means am i complaining about being a mom! i love my family with all my heart!!! i just want to feel like myself and be a mom while being about to separate the roles ... does that make sense??

6 weeks old....

So Alisyn is super strong!

she can support her neck, she has a firm grip, and she is learning new sounds!
I can believe how big she is getting and the changes occur EVERYDAY! oh and im pretty sure she weighs 10lbs! she is doing much better her acne is clearing up with some help from vitamin E,her heat rash is being stubborn! i have done everything to help it go away and NOTHING is working to help it fade! her thrush is almost cleared up :]] she is still VERY gassy from the antibiotics :/. But other then that we are peachy! oh and she has learned to turn her head when she is sleeping ... so it scary now at night because ill see her try to turn her head over and she puts her face right into the mattress ...SCARY but i now know how to position her to where she cant do that :]] so all is good.



Oh and as for anything new for me .. im going to try to be vegetarian for a month and im now trying to go running at least twice a week with my friend Chelsea :]]

Weigh in ...

ok so on a whim today i weighed myself it has been over a month since i have had my wonderful daughter and well let just say she has aided in my weight loss as well as me cooking things at home and eating healthier, ok so you wanna know how much i weigh now?? drum roll......146LBS!!!! only 10-15 more pounds to go!!! i got cleared to work out again so when im not watching kids and my love isnt working i will be running the rest of this icky thing called fat OFF!!! i really miss my pre-pregnancy bady .. but i sure do love my daughter! and she was well worth it ... but now this mama has to become the person she feel comfortable as. Well i do love wearing sweats all the time... i really just wish i could fit into my jeans and t-shirts!




Before i had Alisyn i weighed 178

3 days AFTER i had Alisyn i weighed 165

1 MONTH after i had her i weigh 146!

in two months i would like to weigh 130 or 135 ... i CAN do this!!!!

Stuffy nose,baby acne,heat rash AND thrush

well i took Alisyn in today because over night she developed little red bumps all over her face and chest and some on her back...

well the bumps on her face is baby acne
the bumps on her chest/back is a heat rash
got an electric booger sucker for her stuffy nose
and got some antibacterial mouth wash for Alisyn


we should be ok from the thrush in 7-14 days if not sooner since it is a very mild case .... only 2 spots doctor said we caught it in its earliest stage... thank goodness!


oh and the electric booger sucker works great! i got tons out of her it seemed like! .... where as i would get NOTHING from the blue bulb!!!


oh and she got weighed ...she now weighs 9LBS!!!!!! my chunky monkey!
